Network Rail is today (23 August) reminding passengers that the vast majority of Britain’s rail network (over 95%) will be open for business as usual this coming Bank Holiday weekend, allowing them to reconnect with family, friends and their favourite holiday destinations.
With domestic tourism in high demand, Network Rail’s bank holiday engineering work has been planned to minimise disruption to passengers with very few routes impacted, though passengers are reminded to check their journeys in advance as some upgrade works will be taking place.
